In this lesson, Ken Sande continues his teaching on relational wisdom by sharing the final two of four acrostics that help to engage the model and apply it most successfully. He explains the “READ” acrostic first, sharing how understanding one’s own emotions and options for responding to that emotion help to orient a potentially difficult interaction. He then describes the “SERVE” acrostic to discuss ways engage others in a winsome, empathetic, and constructive way.

He is a Certified Christian Conciliator, an Editorial Adviser for Christianity Today, a Certified Relational Wisdom Instructor, and an Emotional Intelligence Certified Instructor. He and his wife, Corlette, have two adult children and a grandson, and love to hike and ski in the mountains near their home in Billings, Montana.
