This session for advisors in the business less than five years will share best practices for developing their careers and engaging with Kingdom Advisors.
Kurt Cornfield serves as Director of Student and Emerging Advisors for Kingdom Advisors and teaches in the School of Business at Liberty University. After beginning his career at Morgan Stanley in 1984, he spent 24 years at Merrill Lynch, retiring in 2018. Over the course of his career, he developed a deep passion for holistic financial planning, focusing on incorporating biblical wisdom into his advice. Kurt was instrumental in developing the first CFP® Board-registered program that integrated biblical wisdom into the coursework. Through this program, graduates of Liberty's program are prepared to pursue both the CFP® and CKA® designations. Kurt is passionate about encouraging all student and emerging advisors to pursue biblical wisdom in their advising careers. He and his wife, Nancy, have three children and live in Lynchburg.
Nathan Fulks joined Family Wealth Partners in 2015 after graduating from Liberty University. He is a Stewardship Coach (FWP's client-friendly term for financial advisor) and Managing Partner where he splits his time serving clients and managing some of the day-to-day operations of the firm. Nathan is very involved in the local KA emerging advisors Study Group in Charlotte and also helps lead the national emerging advisors initiatives inside Kingdom Advisors. In his free time, Nathan enjoys serving at his local church by playing the drums on Sundays, spending time with his wife and two children, and playing golf.
